What is domain registration?
Domain registration is the cost of creating your domain (www.your-name.co.uk). The costs
for the domains differ greatly on the ending (.co.uk, .com, .uk.net, .eu). There are over
35 different domain endings for you to choose from and they can vary in prices from
£4.99 - £39.99 per year.
What is a hosting package?
The hosting package enables you to display your website on the internet. Your webpages
are stored on server and the amount of storage space you have depends on the hosting
package you choose. Data transfer is the total amount of information that can be downloaded
from your website. Whenever someone visits your website, information is sent from your website,
to the visitors computer. This data may include, webpages, images, videos - anything
on your website that can be viewed or downloaded. All the hosting packages come with email accounts which allow
everyone in your business to have there own personal email address (your-name@your-domain.co.uk).
What is site build and design?
This is the cost of the build and design of your website. There is a flat charge of £14.99 per webpage
on your website. For example, if you had a home page and a contact page, the price would be £29.98, this
price does not include hosting or domain registration.
What is site maintenance?
This is an optional extra cost. If you are confident with web design, then
you won't need this service because you can update your website yourself. But if you want us to
take care of looking after your website, then we will update your website as you require when you
contact us. This optional service costs £23.88 per year.
